Salsa All Day Workshop With Rasa & Fran

Join Rasa The Dancer & Special Guest Francisco Miguel Saez Ferrando for a very special Salsa All Day Workshop and a rare chance to learn from Rasa in London!

Level: Improver / Intermediate (anyone who is comfortable with basic steps, turns and styling/body movement)

Timetable

12.00-1.30PM – Turning & Spinning Techniques

Focusing strictly on the correct technique for body movement, shifting of weight and balance for turns and spinning, whilst styling. No choreo, just real social dancing techniques. Suitable for leaders and followers.

2.00-3.30PM – Salsa Partnerwork (Improver/Intermediate)

It’s time to implement your turning and spinning techniques into partnerwork, focusing strictly on socially friendly moves that you can lead to anyone with style. 

4.00-5.00PM – Intensive Salsa Footwork Choreo

Challenge yourself with a solo choreo, just as it would be in a show. Get the experience of performing by learning a short footwork choreo and performing it at the end of class. Suitable for all.

ABOUT FRAN

Fran was born in Spain. At the age of 14 he found his passion, which was dancing, and began to train in Latin rhythms such as salsa, bachata, merengue, chachachá, etc. Two years later he moved to Zaragoza to receive ballet training in one of the most prestigious schools in Spain. L A few years later, Fran also began to train in street dance, jazz and ballroom dancing. 

 At the age of 21 he began his professional career working in productions of ballets, shows, musicals, TV, films around Spain, France, Italy and Portugal and participating in competitions.

 Over the years he decided to start studying contemporary dance at Murcia Conservatory for 4 years, and continuing training in salsa, bachata, hip hop, Afro-Cuban and jazz with national and international teachers as well as dancing professionally. At the same time he was teaching in various dance schools and salsa and bachata congresses and was a choreographer in shows and competition groups. 

Overall he has been teaching for over 16 years.  He continues to train, dancing professionally and teaching giving the best
