WELCOME
Helping Students Reach Their Dance Potential
I am passionate about all things dance and equally excited to help you reach your full dance potential. Dance has offered me so many extraordinary life experiences. I want to share that with you through my all access pass where we meet to learn about your dance goals.
About Rasa
Over the years, I have built up a wealth of experience in salsa and bachata, and I work hard to blend my passion and enthusiasm for dancing with a fun, friendly, student-centred approach. I am a strong believer in progressive learning, and my regular classes are designed to gradually build upon basic techniques, step by step, to help you become the best dancer you can be.
I've travelled the UK, Europe and across the world, sharing the joy of salsa and bachata with students of all levels, and experiencing so many breathtaking parts of the world - I have even take students on immersive dance holidays to the Dominican Republic, allowing them to experience bachata in the country where it was born. Over the years, I have had also had some incredible opportunities to perform on stages big and small. Highlights include being crowned the winner of the 2011 Freestyle Salsa & Bachata Championships in the UK, featuring in the movie 'Cuban Fury' in 2014, and sharing the stge with bachata artist Dani J!
In recent years, I've worked hard to turn my talents to the online world, building engaged platforms on Facebook, Instagram and especially on YouTube. My YouTube channel "Dance With Rasa", has had over 1.5 million views, and features a range of videos to help salsa and bachata dancers, from videos on basic techniques like spinning, footwork and body movement; to advice on etiquette on the dance floor.
I teach online classes, in-person public and private lessons, and am available for bookings for congresses and events. I am also experienced in corporate events and choreography for wedding dances.
Charity Work
Dance is a wonderful activity, for many it is a hobby, others a passion, for some a profession and even a total escape from the world we live in. As much as we encourage this at Dance with Rasa, we are not blind to the problems in the world. It is well known that at Dance with Rasa, we have a huge love for animals, and we want to make sure that we are doing our part to help endangered animals in the world.
With that being said, Dance with Rasa has adopted an Amur Leopard and a Snow Leopard through WWF UK. Know that when you come learn with us you are also making a difference to these animals lives. As the school continues to grow with your help we will be proactively growing our capacity to help these animals.
